When Darla was brought to the Los Angeles-based Samson’s Sanctuary she was just 4 months old. The poor one was abandoned so early that she became a bit shy and unconfident. She was labeled “Snappy.”
But Darla was so cute that soon she found a foster mom. The woman turned out to be a magician. She started to give Drala great love and attention and made the dog believe in herself.
Darla felt that she was protected and became a very playful and sociable canine. So the sanctuary shared her foster mom’s video to show how love and care could make wonders.
Animals at shelters don’t dream of luxurious forever homes but a little love and attention.
