Julio Mora and Waldramina Quinteros proved to the whole world that true love does exist.
Mora was born in 1910, and Quinteros was born in 1915. Though their families didn’t approve of their relationship the couple eloped.
On Febrary7, 1941 they got married and became the best couple for over 79 years. In August 2020, the Guinness World Records awarded the couple with certificates for being the oldest living married couple. Their combined age was almost 215 years.
When the pandemic occurred it took many lives and the couple also suffered from it. On October 22, 2020, Mora slept and couldn’t open his eyes. But the man knew that he was sleeping next to his beloved one and was blessed.
The couple had four children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
