Baby Bonobo Can’t Stop Smiling After Being Rescued From Hunters Who Killed Mother

Esake was a bonobo who lost her mother recently. Soon she was spotted riding a bicycle back toward a market in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Recently cruel hunters sold the young of murdered apes into the black market for pets. So the little one managed to escape from the cargo of bushmeat on a bicycle.

Fortunately, the bonobo met Héritier Mpo, a community partner of the Bonobo Conservation Initiative (BCI), and rediscovered her smile with the caring man.

The man totally changed her life of Esake and made her extremely happy. Soon when she was ready Esake was taken to the Kinshasa sanctuary. Esaki found her happiness there and was surrounded by strong people.
