A new record for the most children born at one time was established when the mother gave birth to ten

Gosiame Sithole (Gosiame Sithole), 37, of South Africa, broke the record of an African woman who had previously given birth to nine children by giving birth to ten at once. This information was obtained from the news outlet IOL.
Sithole gave birth to ten children—seven boys and three girls—on June 7, 2021, when she was 29 weeks pregnant.

When the scan revealed that they would be having six children, the expecting couple was taken aback. Doctors later discovered two additional fetuses, and the couple discovered they were expecting eight children.
During the labor process, it was discovered that there were not eight, but ten children in total. The mother decided to have a caesarean section when she was 29 weeks pregnant in order to protect the health of all of the infants.

In most cases, unusual occurrences like this occur during the process of in vitro fertilization; however, conception occurred on its own in this case.
It is expected that the neonates will spend the next several months in an incubator. In addition to the tens, Sithole has a pair of six-year-old twin boys.

It was once said that a single mother in Africa was responsible for the simultaneous birth of nine children. A Mali woman gave birth to seven children in one day, five girls and four boys.
