When a homeless man heard some noises in Floridablanca municipality, in the northeastern Colombian department of Santander, he called the police.
The police came and discovered a baby in the bushes. Her umbilical cord wasn’t even removed but she was left helpless in the bushes.
A great number of ants were crawling on the poor baby’s body. However, the homeless man and the police did their job on time and the baby is now in the hospital waiting for the end of the investigation.
