Michael J. Fox pays heartwarming tribute to wife Tracy Pollan for 35th anniversary: ‘Forever yours’

One of Hollywood’s most admirable couples is Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan.

Over the course of their more than three decades of faithful marriage, they have helped one another through good times and bad, especially when Fox was battling Parkinson’s illness.

In honor of the couple’s most recent 35th wedding anniversary, the actor sent a poignant homage to his loving wife.

The 62-year-old Back to the Future actor has posted several images of Tracy on social media throughout the years.

Fox captioned the photo, “35 years of laughter, living, listening, and loving you.” “I value everything. I’m yours forever, Mike.

I really love you. Pollan participated in the conversation. She also shared a note she had written for her spouse on Instagram:

Happy anniversary, my darling. We anticipate having many more exhilarating trips together. I could not adore you more, she wrote.

Fox also offered a touching birthday tribute to his wife, Pollan, who turned 63 last month. “She showers the people she loves with love, she shows them the way that she feels,” Fox wrote.

“My love, my best friend, my everlasting Summer girl, and the most gorgeous, magnificent mother to our four amazing children. I absolutely adore you.

Since 1988, Fox and Pollan have been wed. Years prior, they first connected on the set of Family Ties, where Pollan played Alex P. Keaton’s fiancée. On the Bright Lights, Big City film set, where they collaborated once more, a romance grew.

The event took place on July 16, 1988. Daughter Esmé, identical twin sisters Aquinnah and Schuyler, and son Sam are their three children.

In 1991, barely a few years into their marriage, Fox was horribly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Fox remembered on The Late Show With David Letterman in 2015 that “it was scary.” It was the last thing I expected to hear at the age of 29, so. I believed I injured my shoulder while performing a trick because my pinkie twitched. The doctor then informed him that he had Parkinson’s disease. The good news is that you still have 10 years of labor ahead of you, he remarked.

Fox claims his wife’s love and support got him through the hardest days as he fought to accept the condition.

“We didn’t know what to expect,” Fox said. “Tracy didn’t blink at that crucial moment, which is one reason I’ll always love her,” the author said.

For the past 35 years, they have been a constant source of love and support for one another, and their relationship is still going strong.

“I think we really listen to each other, and we are there for each other when we need each other,” says Pollan. “And then clarified that we also respect each other’s desire for privacy. Just trying to be there and feeling off of what’s required right now.

“Tracy provides our family with all we require. She is the source of all our family’s good deeds, Fox continued.

Fox, who announced his acting retirement in 2021, recently acknowledged that his Parkinson’s disease struggle was “getting tougher” and that he was “not gonna be 80,” but insisted that he was still “happy.”

With his Michael J. Fox Foundation, which funds research to create more efficient Parkinson’s treatments and a cure, Fox is still doing fantastic things. The organization is the largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson’s disease research and has raised more than $1 billion for research programs.
