Many people think it’s challenging to ride a big horse. However, it makes me glad to observe a small child execute the same action with enthusiasm. After all, kids make excellent students who pick up new information rapidly.
A five-year-old girl named Kinsley recently amazed onlookers while riding Ruby, a female Morgan Draft Cross horse. She navigated a tough path on her pony.
On a bouncy course with a succession of 2’6″ obstacles, Kinsley maneuvered her pony with ease. The big pony and the little rider appeared to have a special connection. The pony made sure the rider didn’t go too quickly between the obstacles after realizing the rider wasn’t an adult.
Ruby also made sure Kinsley bounced with barely perceptible jerks so she wouldn’t fall off the seat. Everyone there cheered Little Kinsley on as she rode her beloved horse around hurdle after obstacle.
In response to the little rider’s request, the organizers played “Let it Go,” Kinsley’s signature song from the Frozen soundtrack. A 5-year-old child maneuvering a large pony past obstacles would make any adult shiver with fear. Any such worries, however, would have been allayed by the atmosphere of calm and confidence that prevailed.
With each leap, Kinsley and Ruby showed that there was nothing to be concerned about. The five-year-old child had complete faith in her pony and was confident that she wouldn’t spook too much and knock Kinsley to the ground.
Observing Kinsley take such good care of Ruby was amazing. With each spin and jump, the young woman’s self-assurance increased. Despite the fact that the crowd was still applauding Kinsley, she was uneasy.
