Meet The Tree-Kangaroo — The Kangaroo’s Adorable Cousin You’ve Probably Never Heard Of

If you haven’t heard of the tree Kangaroos yet then meet them now. They are Australian natural habitats and one of the national symbols like the usual kangaroo.

The tree-kangaroos live in mountainous places, and lowland forests of northern Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia.

They are like actual kangaroos but are more fluffy and confused with little bears. They like to live in the trees. These tree-kangaroos have stronger forelimbs for climbing and shorter legs thus resembling lemurs too.

The tree-kangaroos are rare animals. In 2016, it was the first time in 36 years that a tree-kangaroo was born in captivity. However, everything is done to protect the species and not make them endangered.
