Anastasia Tiurina is only seven years old, but she has the talent and love of performing of a seasoned musician.
The young Russian girl’s performance with the National Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments is highlighted. Anastasia conducts the orchestra in a rousing musical rendition of Alexander Shalov’s Russian folk song ‘Valenki,’ strumming the Russian balalaika, a triangular mandolin-like instrument with three strings.
Anastasia is still completely immersed in the music, delicately plucking at the strings and generously smiling at her various accompanists and the conductor. On stage, she appears to be very happy and relaxed, performing with patience and ease that will ensure her a bright future in music!
