This Illinois couple hadn’t imagined that they would have their 100th grandson when they got married.
Leo and Ruth Zanger recently welcomed their 100th grandson. They have been together for over 60 years.
The couple has already had 53 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren and now they have their great-grandchild. But not the first or the second the baby was their 100th great-grandchild.
At Christmas or Easter or other celebrations, the family had to rent a large hall in the local church so that they could gather all together.
The 79-year-old head of such a large family, Ruth Sanger, recently commented that they are the happiest couple and family in the world and are happy to welcome one more child.
