Gino was born in 2000. He was a shelter dog named Pee Wee at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.

Alex Wolf and his roommates went to that shelter and adopted Gino when he was 2 years old. Gino used to live with college roommates who spent joyous and active life. Thus the dog himself became too happy and active.

But now he is 22 and was retired from his former active life. He enjoys his naps by the fireplace and being rolled around the neighborhood in a wagon.
