A photo of a 3–year-old boy named Michael Brown has garnered over 150,000 likes as the little boy showcased his reaction to the adoption news very vigorously.
Recently, Michael joined the Patronage Program. This is a system in which children in need of custody are temporarily placed in foster
care and their child support is paid in full by the state.
In February 2015, when the boy was just 18 months old, Tara Montgomery agreed to adopt the boy. Michael was expected to reunite with his birth mother some time later. But in the end, she was stripped of her parental rights.
“I’m a single mother and didn’t think about adopting at first. But Michael changed my plans. In the morning he wakes up, comes up to me and says: “Mom, I’m so happy.” claimed the woman in an interview with The HuffPos.
