Looking back on her late teens and early twenties, Karlie remarked, “I believe I was frightened that if I said I didn’t want to do anything, I may lose a job or lose my position. However, I didn’t lose out on any jobs. The more I spoke up to explain my case, the more respect I gained from my peers.
And I gained more respect for myself,” she said, “and only now do I have the courage to stand tall, all 6 feet 2 inches of me, and recognize the strength of my voice.”
Karlie talked about getting married to her longtime lover, Joshua Kushner, on October 18, 2018, in the same interview. “I am incredibly driven and ambitious, and there are many great things I want to accomplish. However, I also want to enjoy the company of those I care about. My happiness is vital to me, she told the outlet. Being a mother is one of her greatest joys. Levi, a boy, was born to her and Josh on March 11, 2021.
