In spite of her hideous appearance, Pepper couldn’t hurt a fly. The innocent circus girl had a naive, unclouded conscience and did not perceive any bad. On the big screen, Naomi Grossman portrayed her in the role.
The artist reportedly had to shave her head prior to the shoot and spend three hours each day applying makeup on location.
The layers of skin, nose, ears, and artificial jaw were all functional. The crowd trembled as they watched the lovely actress take on the role of a monarch.
