A big beard conceals the man. Carrey’s fans are perplexed as to why the actor ages himself on purpose. “I can scarcely believe he’s Jim Carrey the hilarious person,” “He doesn’t appear well-groomed,” “He looks like an elderly man,” and other similar expressions.
