An Irish plumber, age 21, has the finest voice Simon Cowell has ever heard in a vocalist, according to Cowell.

Brendan Murray recently made an appearance on The X Factor UK with the hopes of taking part in the program’s “six chair challenge” and winning one of the six chairs.

Murray entered the room and informed the panel of judges that he was there to live out a dream and that music was his passion. He turns to face the other competitors who have already taken their places on stage after they wish him luck. The hit song “Everyone Hurts,” written and performed by the group R.E.M, is then introduced by Brendan.

His voice startled everyone, including the judges. Also, you can hear the other competitors debating how fantastic he sounds. The other competitors’ heads droop as Brendan sings the song’s high notes because they know that one of them won’t be on stage for very long.

Brendan’s singing is so intense that it causes you to experience both the feelings Brendan is feeling and the emotions the song’s author meant for you to feel.

Once Brendan finishes the song, the judges and crowd give him a standing ovation, and he slumps to the floor on the stage looking as though he is in tears.

Simon Cowell informs Brendan that he is in a distinct category than the other competitors. Before pressing the button that sends the contender to the next round of the competition, another judge approaches Brendan and says he wants to talk with him. Everyone is thrilled to hear this amazing talent again, including Brendan, who is ecstatic.
