There are many animals with distinctive traits on Instagram, but Gringo, a 1-year-old British Shorthair who resides in France with his owners Sabrine and Romain, as well as his sibling Milko, is the first cat we’ve ever seen with such a flawless and defined mustache.
“Gringo is a cheerful cat with plenty of vitality and a genuinely sweet demeanor. He enjoys playing all day and all night and getting into trouble by jumping in the plants, climbing on the drapes, and clawing the couch, according to Sabrine, who was speaking to Just Something. He also likes to stand on his rear paw like a meerkat. It’s amusing that he can hold that posture for a few minutes. Both Gringo’s appearance and demeanor are distinctive. “Gringo regularly sniffs our plates to check if there’s something tasty for him to eat, and he likes to take our sponge from the kitchen just to chew it, so we have to conceal it every time,” says one of the family members.
When Gringo arrived, Sabrine and Romain already owned a cat by the name of Milko, but they had long considered adopting another one. When they came across a photo of Gringo one evening on a well-known French cattery website, they fell in love with him right away. Gringo, a very nice and sociable cat, became an immediate buddy with Milko when he was just three months old and the two of them are now just unstoppable. From nightfall to daylight, they are like a cute, fuzzy tornado flipping over their owner’s house.
When Gringo’s account was hijacked earlier this year, it had approximately 60,000 followers. He is now attempting to regain that number with a new, rapidly expanding account.
