Richard Gere felt driven to perform “Beautiful Woman” after hearing Julia Roberts say three words

A famous movie from Hollywood made its debut 32 years ago. The movie “Pretty Woman” received many honors, including Golden Globe and Academy Awards.

Director Harry Marshal gave Richard Gere and Julia Roberts the writing duties despite the diverse cast. The performance, however, did not instantly or quickly concur.

After reading the script, Richard decided not to take part because he found it to be excessively pornographic. As planned by director Harry Marshal, Gere, on the other hand, changed his mind as soon as the two main characters interacted. Over the course of the evening, they had a lengthy conversation, and when Gere got home, he found a note in his wallet that read, “Say yes, please.”

These three comments altered Gere’s perspective, and the result is what is seen. a fantastic cast in a fantastic film.
