In September 2021, a devastating fire occurred in Iowa, Des Moines.
The 38-year-old Malcolm Cortner and his team of firefighters arrived to put the fire out.
Among the injured was a 16-month-old mastiff who was not in a good condition. So the owners decided to abandon the poor dog. So it was when Cortner decided to take the poor dog home.
The City of Des Moines shared a Facebook post about their new friend who would accompany them in putting a fire out and making their day happier.
Thanks to the kind-hearted firefighter now the dog lives a happy life.
