Gerry Baker was astonished to see a deer having fun in the ocean. He was noticing such a vigorous animal in teh waters for the first time in Myrtle Beach.
First, Baker didn’t get what critter was swimming so enthusiastically and began recording the precious moment. Soon he learned that it was a deer. Soon a beach patrol pulled up beside him. Baker learned that deer swimming into the ocean was a common sight in Myrtle Beach.
When Baker posted the video on his Instagram page he discovered that the deer are known to swim as fast as 15 miles per hour and an amazing distance of 10 miles. They are great water lovers.
